Nishikawa Rips Eureka for 5 Hits Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 "Believe it or not," said Brooklyn right fielder Kata Nishikawa, "they threw me some good pitches today." That would be hard to believe for anyone who saw him dispose of the Hornets with a great 5-hit performance. "He made it look easy," said the Eureka manager, who saw his team fall to the Brooklyn Black Knights, 9-2. "Hats off to him!" Kata Nishikawa singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Paul Barrett in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Nishikawa is currently batting .347 with 8 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
