Kelsey Sherrill out 7 Months With Injury Friday, June 2nd, 2023 The Jacksonville Jacks were dealt a severe blow when Kelsey Sherrill was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Georgia Grays. After the game, the team trainer reported Sherrill might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 27-year-old third baseman out for the rest of the season with a concussion. They indicated it would take Sherrill at least 7 months to heal. This year Sherrill has socked 59 hits in 207 at-bats for a .285 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .345 pace and his totals also include 18 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
