Young Gets RCL Batter of the Month Trophy Thursday, June 1st, 2023 When Joe Young stepped up to the plate in May, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Roberto Clemente League Batter of the Month award. The young Seattle right fielder posted a .405 batting average with 13 home runs, 40 RBIs and scored 30 runs. Young also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .462 on-base percentage. In the current season, Young has put up a .405 batting average with 47 hits, 13 home runs, 40 runs batted in and scored 30 runs. |
