Hit Streak Over, Hornets Stop Godambe Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 Kansas City triumphed over Eureka today 6-5. However, that was not the whole story. Tornadoes shortstop Kulaja Godambe failed to get a hit for the first time in 20 games. Godambe went hitless in 4 at-bats and had his streak broken. Commenting to reporters at his press conference, he said, "Some days the past few weeks I carried the club, today they carried me. No matter what, it is always good to win a ballgame." This year Godambe is hitting at a .287 pace with 4 home runs and 16 RBIs. He has played in 39 games and scored 23 times. |
