Texans Wise Blanks Montreal Saturday, May 13th, 2023 Paul Wise of the Dallas Texans just toyed with the Montreal Bandits today, blanking them 6-0. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 6-hit shutout with 7 strikeouts and no walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Wise said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." One of his teammates said it was easy to play behind him today. "It was like he's just playing with the hitters and doing whatever he wanted to do." This season Wise has worked 55.1 innings with 39 strikeouts en route to a 4-3 record and a 3.42 ERA. |
