Matsui Goes 5-6 Sunday, May 7th, 2023 Thanks to Katsumoto Matsui and his big bat, the Hornets derailed the Minnesota Berserkers 17-6 today at The Frozen Tundra. The Eureka third baseman had a standout game with 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Katsumoto Matsui singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In 22 games this season Matsui is batting .329 with 24 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 13 runs and driven in 15. |
