Shirazi Dominates Jersey Thursday, May 4th, 2023 "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the Jersey manager after his club suffered a 6-0 shutout at the hands of Jan Shirazi of the Brooklyn Black Knights. He held the Jersey Jesters scoreless in a 5-hit whitewash. Shirazi was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Jan did a whale of a pitching job." |
