Bad News for Psychos, Phelps Injured Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023 It took the Pax River team doctor a while to realize it, but shortstop Mike Phelps won't simply play through shoulder tendinitis after he got hurt colliding with a player at a base in today's Jacks-Psychos game. At first, it looked like Phelps might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 weeks. In this current campaign Phelps is hitting at a .271 clip with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
