Toreros Stop Ramsey at 21 Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 The So Cal Republic defeated the Cabo San Lucas Toreros 11-3 today at House of the Republic, but Lou Ramsey's 21-game hitting string was snapped and went to the wayside. Ramsey went hitless in 4 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," the first baseman said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the 'W' today. That's all that really counts." Currently Ramsey is hitting .330 and has collected 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 26 times, while playing in 27 games. |
