Wood Will Sit Out 2 Games, Suspended by League Friday, April 28th, 2023 A 2-game suspension has been handed out by the league office to Alden Wood of the Pax River Psychos. Wood was suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" during a confrontation with a plate umpire during a recent game at Waterfront Park against the Beavers. He was ejected after arguing a called third strike and had to be restrained by his bench coach. In his season totals Wood has no home runs and a .083 batting average. |
