Lardone Suspended, Out 4 Games Tuesday, March 14th, 2023 The league commissioner has zero tolerance when it comes to touching an umpire. That's the reason Sergio Lardone of the Tornadoes has been given a 4-game suspension. He apparently made too much contact with the home plate umpire while intensely questioning a called strike in a recent game at Spring Ballpark with the South Carolina Bombers. Lardone said he would not appeal and would serve his suspension beginning today. |
