SP Calvin Townend Hurt Wednesday, March 8th, 2023 Calvin Townend expressed his disappointment when he learned that a torn ulnar collateral ligament would sideline him for 13 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Townend. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the Kansas City Tornadoes. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. |
