ABL News: Free Agents File Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022 Today is the first day of the free agency period. With the arrival of free agency comes the opportunity for each club across ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE to propel themselves into the playoffs simply by making a few shrewd, well-calculated signings. General managers have to choose wisely where to spend their dollars. An expensive signing could be the key to a playoff spot or it could handcuff a franchise for years to come. This year's key free agents include: 1. Brian McCauley, 30 year-old right fielder 2. José Escobar, 31 year-old first baseman 3. Kevin Tolbert, 33 year-old right fielder 4. Stephen Jackson, 36 year-old first baseman 5. Jarrod Parrish, 29 year-old center fielder 6. Stan Cheslin, 29 year-old right fielder 7. Fred Butler, 30 year-old starting pitcher 8.
