Star 3B Signs Pact with Republic Saturday, November 12th, 2022 Team officials triumphantly announced that the Republic and superstar third baseman Jong-min Kim Jr. have closed a deal that keeps the 20-year-old in a So Cal uniform for another 5 years. Kim Jr. will earn $10,000,000 as part of the settlement. A check of his lifetime stats shows Kim Jr. has played in 161 games with a .276 batting average. Among his 192 hits are 34 home runs.
