Portland's Holmes Wins TML Silver Slugger Award Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 It's been a year of triumph for veteran Nick Holmes of the Portland Beavers as he hit his way to the 2022 Thurman Munson League Silver Slugger Award. The 28-year-old veteran compiled a .384 average and .474 on-base percentage by putting together 234 hits, 28 doubles, 3 triples, 43 home runs and 109 walks. He also scored 116 times and drove in 147 runs.Akio Toyoda of the Kansas City Tornadoes finished second in voting, while Dayne Reagan of the Mile High Mustangs finished third. |
