Hornets KO Republic Friday, October 28th, 2022 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "To the victors go the spoils." Eureka got the ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE ABL World Series trophy today with a 6-3 victory over So Cal at House of the Republic. The Hornets won their 1st championship after taking the series with the Republic 4-3. "They've got grit!" one fan said. "They know how to win when they have to. They're the League Champions!" The new titleholders completed the regular season with a second-place finish in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division and a 87-75 record. |
