Eureka's Kimball Injured, Out of Lineup
Friday, October 28th, 2022
"I'm frustrated right now," said Eureka starting pitcher Jeff Kimball. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Hornets, that's where he will be spending 4-5 months. Kimball suffered a torn back muscle in today's game against So Cal while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be."

So far this year Kimball has made 32 starts, tossed 187 innings, struck out 115 batters and walked 24. His record is 11-11 with a 4.24 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .306 batting average.
