RCL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Saturday, October 1st, 2022 Jong-min Kim Jr. earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the Roberto Clemente League for last month's performance. The boyish So Cal third baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Kim Jr. hit .321 with 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and 22 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. For the season Kim Jr. is batting .278 with 191 hits and 34 home runs. He has scored 108 times and batted in 117. |
