Red-Hot Hernández Scorches Berserkers Saturday, September 10th, 2022 Jorge Hernández was on fire today and sparked his club to a 16-5 victory over the Berserkers. The Manhatten Beach right fielder was a tough out and went 5 for 6 against Minnesota in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in." Jorge Hernández singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. This season in 87 games, Hernández has hit at a .275 clip with 73 hits, 10 home runs, 45 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
