Danger CF Yamasaki Out Saturday, August 27th, 2022 The Duke City Danger were dealt a severe blow when Kiyonobu Yamasaki was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Kansas City Tornadoes. After the game, the team trainer reported Yamasaki might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 24-year-old center fielder out for the rest of the season with a torn meniscus. They indicated it would take Yamasaki at least 5-6 weeks to heal. For the season, Yamasaki is hitting at a .368 clip with 18 home runs, 87 RBIs and has scored 109 runs. He has 168 hits, 113 walks and a .488 on-base percentage. |
