Another Setback For Eureka's Jorge Pérez Monday, August 8th, 2022 It was learned today in Eureka that catcher Jorge Pérez would miss more time because his recovery from a strained bicep tendon was not going as well as expected. The Hornets, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Pérez would only miss one week more. This season Pérez has banged out 69 hits in 283 at-bats for a .244 average with 16 home runs. He is getting on base at a .304 pace and his totals also include 43 RBIs and 47 runs scored. |
