Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Monday, August 1st, 2022 Todd McCarthy earned July's Rookie of the Month honors in the Thurman Munson League for last month's performance. The boyish Kansas City right fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. McCarthy hit .296 with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 15 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. So far this year McCarthy is hitting .300 with 17 home runs. |
