Psychos-Texans Swap: Jones for Morán Sunday, July 31st, 2022 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Psychos and Texans have consummated a trade. Dallas will receive 28-year-old minor league third baseman John Jones and 31-year-old reliever Mike Riley in a swap for 33-year-old reliever Phil Bernard and 21-year-old minor league first baseman António Morán. A league analyst called the trade a "pretty even transaction." In his stats this season, Jones has posted a batting average of .067 with 1 hit in 15 at-bats, no home runs and 0 RBIs. He has also scored 2 runs, walked 3 times and compiled a .222 OBP. |
