Federals Center Fielder Roberts Injured Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 Earlier today, Washington center fielder Mark Roberts had to leave the game against San Diego because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a ruptured medial collateral ligament and will miss 8 months of play. Roberts was hurt running the bases and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. This year Roberts is hitting .286 with 66 hits, 13 home runs, 36 RBIs and has scored 38 runs. |
