Psychos Reliever Owens Hurt Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 "I'm frustrated right now," said Pax River reliever Jacob Owens. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Psychos, that's where he will be spending 4 months. Owens suffered a torn triceps in today's game against Duke City while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." During this season Owens has 16 relief appearances and registered 1 saves. Batters are hitting him at a .313 rate and his season record is 0-1 with a 5.04 ERA. He has logged 25 innings and struck out 12. |
