Thurman Munson League Names Top Player Monday, July 11th, 2022 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Nick Holmes, the Portland center fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. Holmes piled up 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs while hitting .455. So far this year Holmes is batting .354 with 22 home runs, 80 RBIs and 57 runs scored. |
