Franklin Selected Player of the Week Monday, July 11th, 2022 At the age of 29, Joel Franklin might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Minnesota third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .650 batting average. For his efforts Franklin collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 20 at-bats, 5 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. Franklin is currently hitting at a .296 pace with 20 home runs and 59 RBIs. |
