RCL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Friday, July 1st, 2022 Youngster Jong-min Kim Jr. emerged as the latest Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from So Cal deserved the honor, batting .280 with 8 home runs and 22 runs batted in. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Kim Jr. enjoy the limelight. Thus far in 2022 Kim Jr. is hitting .286 with 18 home runs, 52 RBIs, 52 runs scored and has compiled a .327 OBP. |
