Yamasaki Takes RCL's Best Bat Award Friday, July 1st, 2022 When Kiyonobu Yamasaki stepped up to the plate in June, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Roberto Clemente League Batter of the Month award. The young Duke City center fielder posted a .356 batting average with 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 29 runs. Yamasaki also worked pitchers for 17 walks to post a .451 on-base percentage. So far on the season Yamasaki is hitting .369 with 12 home runs, 57 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has 103 hits and played in 77 games. |
