Red-Hot Jackson Scorches Hornets Saturday, June 25th, 2022 Allan Jackson of the Mustangs was unstoppable in today's 12-11 victory over the Eureka Hornets at McNichols Stadium. He battered them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Mile High left fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-7 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will." Allan Jackson hit a two-run home run off Jorge Ortíz in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 10th, flied out in the 12th and grounded out in the 14th.
