RCL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, June 6th, 2022 20-year-old Jong-min Kim Jr. sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Kim Jr. made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .519 average, 14 hits in 27 at-bats, 5 home runs and 15 RBI. Where the So Cal Republic third baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Kim Jr. certainly made his mark last week. Kim Jr. is currently batting .311 with 15 home runs, 45 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 76 hits in 244 at-bats. |
