Roberto Clemente League Picks Best Starter in May Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 Anthony Atkinson's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 5-1 in May, the 28-year-old So Cal hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 33 in 41.1 innings, logged an ERA of 1.96 and allowed opponents to hit .217 against him. To date this season, Atkinson has registered 11 starts, 8-2 won-lost mark, 1.80 ERA, 70 IP, 62 strikeouts and 17 walks. Opposing teams have hit .209 against him. |
