Downing Named Top RCL Hurler Sunday, May 1st, 2022 Ed Downing has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in April and stole away with the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month award. The Hops bullpen ace collected 7 saves and 11 strikeouts in 13 innings, holding the opposition to a .178 average and posting a 1.38 ERA and a 2-0 record. |
