Sato Scoops up RCL Top Hurler Award Friday, November 12th, 2021 The Montreal Bandits have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Kinnosuke Sato, this year's Roberto Clemente League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Sato compiled a 17-1 record in 28 starts, tallied 196 strikeouts in 173.2 innings and recorded a 2.54 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .225 batting average against him.William Howard of the Duke City Danger finished second in voting, while Curt Rhodes of the New York Mafia finished third. |
