Las Vegas Starter Named TML's Best Pitcher Friday, October 1st, 2021 Austin Burnett hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In September the Las Vegas starter earned a 5-0 mark in 5 starts. He threw 34.2 innings, struck out 18 and compiled a solid 2.60 ERA. This year in 32 starts, Burnett has recorded 14 wins and absorbed 11 losses. He has pitched 190 innings, allowed 180 hits, struck out 107 and has a 3.60 ERA. |
