Marauders Whitewash Tornadoes, Gould Winner Sunday, September 12th, 2021 Maurice Gould of the Maple Marauders whitewashed the Kansas City Tornadoes 5-0 in a complete-game win, limiting them to 3 hits while chalking up 10 strikeouts and giving up no walks. Talking to BNN writers after the game, his manager said, "He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys. Maurice is pretty poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff." This season Gould has gone 19-7 with an ERA of 2.41, posting 216 strikeouts in 228 innings. |
