Howard Best RCL Starter in August Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 William Howard's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 3-0 in August, the 28-year-old Duke City hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 35 in 42 innings, logged an ERA of 1.50 and allowed opponents to hit .234 against him. Howard has made 27 starts so far this year and put up a 14-6 won-lost record with a 3.29 ERA. In 188.2 innings he has allowed 200 hits, walked 31 and struck out 134. |
