Thurman Munson League Selects Best Performer Monday, August 23rd, 2021 It was announced today by the Thurman Munson League that Portland left fielder Nick Holmes had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .520 batting average, 13 hits and 3 home runs. Holmes also racked up 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Thus far this year Holmes has hit .398 with 36 home runs and 113 RBIs. |
