Seattle's Jones Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Thursday, August 19th, 2021 Seattle defeated Eureka today at Sick's Stadium. The highlight of the game was center fielder Lee Jones. His hitting heroics included a 5-6 day, paving the way for a Sasquatch 20-8 triumph over the Hornets. Lee Jones singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. For the season Jones is currently batting .261 with no home runs and 10 RBIs. In 38 games he has reached base at a .310 rate and scored 23 runs to date. |
