Portland's Holmes Winner, TML Best Hitter in July Sunday, August 1st, 2021 Nick Holmes of the Portland Beavers spoke softly and carried a big stick in July and was justifiably proclaimed the Thurman Munson League Batter of the Month. The Beavers left fielder rapped out a .457 batting average with 48 hits in 105 at-bats, drove in 27, scored 24 runs and chalked up a .512 on-base percentage. This season Holmes is hitting .402 with 30 home runs. |
