Perry of Minnesota Crowned Best Player Monday, July 19th, 2021 26-year-old Roger Perry made a few Minnesota headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Roberto Clemente League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 6 hits in 9 at-bats to put up a .667 average. Perry collected 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 2 runs. |
