5-5 Game for Butler Friday, June 18th, 2021 5 hits in 5 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Ralph Butler of the Montreal Bandits had a sensational game against Georgia at Labatt Bleue Park. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 18-6 shellacking of the Grays. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did ,it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off. Right, skipper?" Ralph Butler singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Mike Sprake in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Peter Anthony in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. In his stats this season, Butler has posted a batting average of .333 with 26 hits in 78 at-bats, 5 home runs and 19 RBIs. He has also scored 15 runs, walked 6 times and compiled a .381 OBP. |
