Rúbio Tosses Shutout Friday, June 11th, 2021 In an almost effortless performance, Carlos Rúbio of the Beavers shot down the Berserkers 16-0 on a 6-hit shutout. His skipper said, "Carlos was just locating so well and using his pitches... not leaving anything over the plate." Rúbio recorded 5 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, the Minnesota manager said, "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game like he can and we couldn't get a key hit off him."
