Daniel Díaz Out for 4-5 Months
Saturday, June 5th, 2021
Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Daniel Díaz of the Danger knows this firsthand. He was injured against the San Diego Hops while throwing a pitch. Because of bone chips in his elbow, the Duke City starting pitcher is expected to miss 4-5 months. Díaz was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."

His record this season is 5-3 in 10 starts and Díaz has a 6.03 ERA.
