Jersey starter Calvin Townend tamed the Mile High Mustangs 5-0 with a 3-hit shutout, finishing the game with 1 strikeout and 1 walk in a sharp outing. "I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Townend said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive." This year Townend has posted a 6-4 mark in 11 starts and has a 4.18 ERA. |
