April's #1 Batter Announced Saturday, May 1st, 2021 When Carlos Ávila stepped up to the plate in April, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Roberto Clemente League Batter of the Month award. The young San Diego center fielder posted a .333 batting average with 6 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 21 runs. Ávila also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .419 on-base percentage. |
