Carlos Ruíz Out for 7-8 Months Monday, April 5th, 2021 The Dallas Texans were dealt a severe blow when Carlos Ruíz was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Washington Federals. After the game, the team trainer reported Ruíz might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 28-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. They indicated it would take Ruíz at least 7-8 months to heal. |
