Mar Week's Top Player Monday, July 3rd, 2023 So far in his young career, Quon Mar has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Central League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 18-year-old Tokyo Yakult Swallows left fielder hit at a torrid .750 clip as he collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 2 home runs, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This year Mar is hitting .313 with 6 home runs. |
