Diwan Tops PL Best Batter List Saturday, September 24th, 2022 Sudhin Diwan of the Saitama Seibu Lions had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Silver Slugger Award for 2022. The 18-year-old first baseman put up a .314 average and a .420 on-base percentage, piling up 81 hits, 14 doubles, 3 triples, 20 home runs, 61 RBIs and 46 runs scored.Rahimat Mash'al of the Chiba Lotte Marines finished second in voting, while Topan Alisjahbana of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters finished third. |
