Yokohama's Xiu CL Star of the Week Monday, August 15th, 2022 Feng-xiang Xiu is respected by most Yokohama Bay Stars fans for his no-frills style of play. The 18-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Central League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .643 average (9-14) with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Xiu has banged out 41 hits in 116 at-bats for a .353 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .398 pace and his totals also include 31 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
